Day 1 – Le Puy-en-Velay

Bonjour de France! My first and last full day in Le Puy, after arriving yesterday afternoon. Beautiful, breezy day. Walked to the top of the Chapelle du St Michel to visit the shrine of St Michael the Archangel. What an awesome place, worth every bit of the steep climb to get there. The gentle breezes at the top suggested the stirring of angels’ wings and the Medieval Romanesque chapel was the perfect place for reflection and prayer. I remembered several people who asked me to keep them in my prayer intentions. Until next time, Buen Camino.
