Chemín Le Puy – Day 19, Moissac, France

Day 4 of the ‘Cahors Crud’. I’ve had a bad cold the last fews days and hopefully on the mend after a two day rest here in Moissac. This ancient town is certainly an interesting place, with a history stretching back to the Roman Empire. The Benedictine Abbey of St Pierre dates from the Middle Ages and is still an active monastery. Tomorrow, hitting the trail to Lectoure, my next stop on the road to Santiago. In eleven days I should be in Saint Jean Pied-de-Port in the foothills of the Pyrenees and at the halfway point of Cathy’s Camino. Bon Chemín.
