Today was a relatively “easy” day, despite slogging through five miles of gooey, sticky mud. Arriving in the land of old Gascony; rolling hills of apple orchards, vineyards and spent sunflower fields. I have long left behind the ancient volcanic massifs of Le Puy, the mountains and plateaus of Aubrac. This land is just a bit flatter with the Medieval towns perched on the prominent hills. Soon it will give way to the foothills of the Pyrenees – and with that, the midpoint of my Camino. Here’s a couple of videos and images of todays stage to Condom. Bon Chemín.
