Chemín de Puy – Stage 4, Domaine du Sauvage to Aumont Aubrac

Stage four started out very cold this morning with overcast skies and misty conditions. For the most part, it was easy-going until about halfway on stage four when I encountered a lot of rough, terrain compounded with wet, misty conditions. Had great conversations with newfound friends along the way. Arrived late in Aumont Aubrac, hustling in time for dinner at the gite. Tomorrow, heading for Nasbinals.

Beautiful pics Brother Mike. You look to be fit and filled with the Holy Spirit! I saw the planet Mercury this morning, and hoped that it was a good omen that your journey along the Camino will go smoothly! Bon Camino!

It’s hard to imagine the weather being so different from when we walked that stage last year at this time. It was 90 degrees and we were sweltering! Prayers continue for you as you cross the beautiful Aubrac plateau! Did you have aligot for dinner?

  3. stay strong deacon, don’t forget to bless your feet so blisters away
